Black Horizons was founded by three friends: Nocturnus, Hacky and Falko.
Reiner completed the band a few months later.

March 2001
The band went to Rünthes “Spontan”-Studio to record their first Demo-Tape,
entitled “Lost in shadows grim”, which included 5 Songs of
pure fucking underground stuff

September 2001
Black Horizons did their first official gig at the “JFZ-Kamen-Heeren”

2002
Vocalist Nocturnus left the band and was replaced by Austi.

January 2004
The band went to C. Kaisers “Meta4s”-Studio Dortmund/Recklinghausen
to record their second official Demo "Within My Suns Last Shafts"

July 2004
The Band decided to remove their Drummer Falko

September 2004
The Butcher is the new Drummer of Black Horizons

Dezember 2004
Black Horizons changed their name into Black Horizonz
Black Horizonz went again to the "Meta4s"-Studios Dortmund
to record their third Demo "Eccentric Wrath"

February 2005
Black Horizonz released their third Demo entitled "Eccentric Wrath"

January 2006
Black Horizonz re-released their first Demo on a Split-CD with Nebeltor
Black Horizonz released "Battles Of Modern Art (Rehearsal + Live)"

August 2006
The Band decided to hire Henning as their second guitar player

October 2006
Black Horizonz entered the "Loveboat"-Studios (Dortmund) to record their first album.

April 2007
Black Horizonz released their first album "khavoid" through UNHOLYFIRE RECORDS
